Dublin, Ireland, Tuesday, 1st May, 2007…Irish distributor specialising in IT security, Commtech, has won the Specialist Distributor of the Year award at the 2007 edition of the ICT Excellence Awards.

Over four hundred people representing top technology companies attended the 2007 ICT Excellence Awards ceremony at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin on April 25th. The event was conducted by RTE’s personality Marty Whelan.

The Specialist Distributor of the Year category rewards the ICT distribution company specialising in one or more technology categories which demonstrates outstanding business performance over the last year. This year the winner of this award was nominated by trade only readers of Irish Computer magazine.
