Commtech wins VMware’s EMEA Distributor of the Year Award

Dublin, Ireland, Friday, 7th March, 2008…Irish IT distributor Commtech has won the VMware European Distributor of the Year award at the recent VMworld Europe 2008 Partner Awards ceremony.

The VMworld Europe 2008 Partner Day was attended by 1,154 people in Cannes, France on Monday, 25th February, followed by a partner awards ceremony at the Palais Des Festivals conference centre in Cannes. VMworld Europe Partner Day showcased the latest VMware partner programmes, sales and training programs, and marketing initiatives to partners across Europe. The Partner Day was followed by the first European VMworld conference, where over 4,000 attendees could experience the latest and greatest in virtualisation technology and business solutions over a 3-day conference program including keynote presentations by industry thought leaders, over 100 breakout sessions and Solutions Exchange exhibition.
